TV, FILM, AND VIDEO PRODUCTION An experience onto itself, this class is geared in an intensive approach that will take you from the original idea to screen. Our student will have a hands-on approach in the developing, writing, and shooting a short film using an in-camera editing. Creation is in the air. Work with time, location, and character limitations. Concentrate on resourcefulness and finding the “Wow” factor that makes a portraying move along. The class will devise a storyboard, block out scenes, and direct using only editing techniques. The instructor will demonstrate how a digital video camera works, highlighting editing and other techniques. Get ready for production. We will teach how professional lighting operates and how to be resourceful with the natural lighting when needed. Everyone in the class gets to try several roles, including writing, directing, acting, lighting, and shooting. Invite friends and family to view the completed work, once it’s done. Additional Information: Prerequisite: None Materials: Bring a notepad, pen, and a tape recorder if you like to record your class. Additional materials to be discuss with the instructor in the first class. No video camera required.
